Befriending Volunteer

To provide company and friendship to clients in client's own home. Client may request a shopping trip or take client to health appointment if no other transport is available. We match clients with volunteers with similar interests to try and limit loneliness and social isolation. We only ask volunteers to provide a few hours a week or a fortnight depending on how often visits take place. Out of pocket expenses given. Volunteer with access to car welcomed as well as those who can drive.
