Role Description

We are looking for Volunteer Receptionists to support the smooth running of our office and ensure clients receive a high standard of customer service that meets their individual needs. You will be the first point of contact for clients, welcoming them appropriately and supporting them in a respectful and non-judgemental manner. In this role, you will help signpost clients to the most appropriate services, explain CAB processes and timescales for dealing with enquiries, and gather initial information from clients about their situation. You will also support a range of administrative tasks including handling paperwork, updating client information on internal systems, managing post and deliveries, and maintaining office resources. This role requires confidence in working with a wide range of clients, including those who may be vulnerable, as well as the ability to work in a busy environment, use computer systems, and communicate effectively as part of a team. If at any stage you have a query about volunteering with IBS CAB or wish to discuss the volunteering opportunities more fully, please feel free to contact: E: volunteer@invernesscab.org T: 01463 252 292

Training Provided:

Volunteers will be supported through an initial on-the-job training period and encouraged to continually develop during their time with the organisation. This role is subject to a Basic Disclosure Check.
